Main Priorities
Quality of Education
- Increase the percentage of expected and greater depth combined writing from 75% (average across Year 1-6) to 85%.
- Increase the percentage of children achieving 25/25 on the multiplication check from 15% to 25% or in line with National (23.6% from 23/24).
- Raise the profile or reading across the school, so that on average across Year 1-6 pupils achieve 90% EXS+ (85% achieved 23/24).
Leadership and Management
- Develop clear roles and responsibilities, including at subject leader and governance level to increase the quality of leadership across the school.
- Develop systems and structures to ensure effective communication between all stakeholders
- Appoint a competent, confident and experienced business manager that can support the success of the school through sound financial management.
Behaviour and Attitudes
- Increase the attendance percentage of disadvantaged pupils from 90.9% in 23/24 to 95% in 24/25
- Continue to develop and improve provision at unstructured times to reduce the number of lunchtime behaviour incidences and enhance playground experiences for all pupils
- Ensure that staff are confident and consistent in challenging behaviour across the school so that low level behaviour incidents are reduce by 50%.
Personal Development
- Increase the percentage of disadvantaged pupils in pupil leadership roles to ensure equality in opportunities to participate in all aspects of school life.
- Refining the pupil offer to ensure all experiences are meaningful and purposeful and are carefully planned for, taking into consideration all pupils and affordability so to ensure they are fully inclusive.
- Develop the cultural capital opportunities for all children through a progression of residential opportunities.
Early Years
- Ensure that staff are well trained to support, challenge and engage with learners through play.
- Increase the percentage of pupils achieving GLD from 80% (achieved in 23/24) to 90%.
