The School Day

The school gate is open and supervised by school staff between 8.40 a.m. and 8.55 a.m. for children to arrive at school. The school day starts at 8.55 a.m. 

The school gate opens at 3:25pm for school to finish at 3:30pm.

Morning playtimes

Morning playtime is 10:40am-10:55am

Lunch

Nursery: 11.45am - 1.45pm 

Reception: 12.00pm - 1.00pm

Year 1: 12.10pm - 1.10pm

Year 2: 12.20pm - 1.20pm

Years 3-6: 12.30pm- 1.30pm

Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option if you live locally. There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations.

Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely. Parents are not permitted to park in the drop off zone, this is for dropping children only. 

If your child is in Year 5 or in Year 6, they can walk to and from school with written parental permission.
