Science Assembly
This week has also been British Science Week. We started the week with an assembly about 'growth' which is the theme for this year. Then on Thursday, Mr Field, who is a secondary science teacher at the Malling School came into school to carry out exciting science assemblies for both younger and older children. The children were amazed at some of the experiments and learnt about biology, chemistry and physics !
What delighted the children the most was learning about oobleck which can be both a liquid and a solid. There were some volunteers from the audience who were brave enought to put their bare feet in the oobleck, Fran in Year 5 and Henry in Year 2 !
