Comic Relief 2023
On Friday Mrach 17th, we held a fundraising day to support Comic Relief 2023.
Children learnt all about how the money helps various families and why Comic Relief is so important. If you would like to learn more, there is a lot of information on the Comic Relief website Red Nose Day | Comic Relief
The Wellbeing Committee sold red noses and raffle tickets over the last few weeks and children enjoyed wearing them into school today. Children came into school wearing red and some designed their own red nose for our competition. There were so many brilliant entries that it was hard to decide our winners, but in the end they were: Fran in Orcas, Molly in Penguins, Phoebe in Turtles and Olivia in Tigers.
We also did a raffle for the Comic Relief Cake, which was kindly donated by Jo Bromfield of Luxe Cakes. Jo lives in Kings Hill and does baking parties and clubs for adults and children so please do contact her if you would like to book your child in for an Easter cooking club. Luxe Cakes and Artisan Bakes – Luxe Cakes and Artisan Bakes. Thank you Jo for the amazing cake, which was won by Theo in Seahorses !
This year we have raised a total of £966 through our sales of red noses and raffle tickets. Thanks to all the parents and pupils who donated.
